My GoodReal
A SaaS platform that helps real estate agents to build websites, manage clients, and boost sales with integrated marketing tools.

OVERVIEW
Business Goals
1. Identified gaps in user interaction and poor UX writing to reduce trust loss and increases new user retention.
2. Collaborated with teams to create new features that help realtors stay connected with clients and prospects through better online visibility.
Challenge
1. Key user flows were missing from the user registration, and poor UX writing caused confusion. This lack of clarity and direction made it difficult for users to navigate the platform.
2. Additionally, to maintain brand alignment and consistency for new features, we created a new style guide and component library for the product and development teams.
Deliverable + Impact
We enhanced the UX writing in the registration system to provide clarity and build trust.
We developed an integrated image editor that enables realtors to create and export marketing assets for self-promotion, enhancing their online visibility and client engagement. Users can customize styles to match their preferences. Additionally, the new component library streamlines the design process, giving designers greater flexibility. Overall, the feedback has been highly positive.
The improved user experience and connectivity features enable realtors to streamline client interactions, secure more sales, and increase their income.
Process
Case// 1 Registration
We collected feedback from new users who found the registration process difficult to navigate. To address this, I mapped out the current user flow and identified two key issues:
1. No clear feedback for incorrect email entries
2. Unclear wording and visual hierarchy, leading to user confusion
By pinpointing these problems, we focused on streamlining the registration process and improving the user experience.

challenge
Redefine UX Writing & Hierarchy
The primary challenge was to ensure the the ux writing is simple enough for user to understand clarify and the visual hierarchy is good enough for readability.
DELIVERABLES
Reduce Drop-off Rates
Insights from User Testing:
1. Clear, concise UX writing improved user understanding and reduced confusion.
2. Well-structured visual hierarchy enhanced readability and guided user attention.
Impact of Implementation: The improved registration process led to a 70% reduction in new user drop-off rates, minimizing frustration and increasing loyalty. These optimizations drive business value through increased user acquisition, retention, and engagement.

Process
Case// 2 Customizable Flyers & Greeting Cards
We have asked about the realtor experiences with online marketing strategies, challenges, and preferences. We notice a few pain point from the users:
1. Highly competitive real estate market: Realtors operate in a crowded market where differentiating themselves and their listings from competitors is a major challenge.
2. Need for unique and effective marketing materials: To stand out, realtors require visually appealing, professional, and personalized marketing materials that showcase their listings' unique selling points.
3. Increased visibility and lead generation: Digital listing flyers can be easily shared online, increasing the visibility of the realtor's listings, attracting a wider audience, and ultimately generating more leads and closed deals.
challenge
Scalable Design System
After gathering client feedback, our team identified opportunities to develop new marketing features for realtors, including customizable listing flyers and greeting cards.
We began by breaking down the essential elements into reusable components, creating a flexible framework that could support a variety of modules.

Style Guide
To ensure brand alignment and consistency across all product elements, we developed a style guide for the team to follow and use.
DELIVERABLES
A Reusable Components & Flyer Generator
The new features for MyGoodReal, we conducted usability tests to gather feedback from customers. Initially, we offered a single style set, but realtors requested more customization options to make their listings stand out. As a result, we introduced a color selection field to allow for greater personalization.
The component library enables designers to quickly adjust layouts while keeping the brand consistent. By utilizing reusable elements, we’ve accelerated the design process, allowing for faster updates and cohesive results.

REFLECTION
Collaborative Design: Boosting Trust and Efficiency
One key takeaway was the importance of a clear onboarding and account creation flow. Breaking down steps and using visual hierarchy helped guide users through the process smoothly.
I also learned the value of designing a flexible component structure when building a system. By focusing on reusable elements, like atoms and molecules, it became easier to make future edits and additions. For example, swapping out individual components or adjusting properties was much more efficient.
Another major insight was the significance of user testing and iteration. Seeing how feedback led to refined solutions reinforced the importance of validating ideas early and continuously improving the design.
